I presume you're using elementary-xfce. If so, please open an issue here: https://github.com/shimmerproject/elementary-xfce

Having said that, I'm currently redrawing the trash-icon and I'll do new icons for *all* sizes, so then your issue will be fixed too. Not sure about an ETA for that and you'll have to use our daily-PPA[1] to get the fix.
