Why not just use the ubuntu repo version? It's still 1.4 last I checked,
even though they are on 1.5. I thought vanilla ubuntu had wine on it. Could
still be under a gig! Just a thought.
Were any changes made to the networking? I am using a broadcom STA driver
and it seems to be a little slower. Not sure if it's any changes, or my new
router.
