Getting started with the 12.04 Documentation Stable Release Update

Progress update:

Chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 have merge proposals pending. Chapters 9 
and 10 (along with the Intro and chapter 1) don't need any changes.
Chapters 12, 13 and the Appendix look like they'll need little or nothing.
So unless anybody has any objections, I'll try to finish up those plus 
chapters 6 and 11 (internet-networks.xml and hardware-devices.xml) and 
then we'll be done. :)
