I've fixed the issue about duplicate volumes in Thunar and xfdesktop
already (however, it needs to be approved for quantal, and people seem
to be busy with the UDS, so I guess it'll happen next week).

And all the bugs you mentioned (except integrated desktop management)
should have been fixed in the latest development release (1.5.1), which
will be part of Xfce 4.12. Yes, this includes tabbed browsing.

No, because Thunar isn't the only program requiring these dependencies,
so they'll be there anyway.  On the other hand, libfm would increase the
image size, as we don't use it for the moment. ;-)
