where our community can discuss the idea. It sounds like an issue we 
should look at.

Can you please file a bug for the issue (if you haven't done so already) 
and send the Launchpad bug number back to the development list [1] so we 
can follow the process more easily?

Hi there Pasi Lallinaho,
First of all congratulations for the good work in the xubuntu project, 
it look good and solid Im still testing this new version but so far so 
good, I just have one suggestion/bug report to say, if your going to 
encrypt the disk in the installation the keyboard layout should  appear 
first for you to configure layout, because if add special characters the 
password you will "never" know what password your typing, exemple: " *ç* 
" is " *:* " or "*'* " is " *-* " and so on... depending on you charset.
