[xubuntu-users] Need to Update Abiword 2.9.2 for Xubuntu

Hi,

I'm sorry I guess I don't understand, 

Either go back to 2.8.6 or go up to 2.9.3. I assume an important app
like the default word processor version is tested before including it(?)
But I don't know what's entailed in doing it. I'm just saying I don't
have a stable default word processor in 12.04. Maybe there are other
factors involved, I imagine dependencies can be complicated...

Abiword 2.9.2 is broken. I've mentioned this on the Abiword mail list
and they point out 2.9.2 is a developmental release - not for "public"
use. 

No biggie, I'll use something else in the meantime for .doc files and
the like...
