upgraded xubuntu to 10.10 alpha3, nvidia issues?

When I added that to the xorg.conf file, the following reboot is
hung/crash.
The next reboot to recovery started apport to collect crash information.
This was terminated when the webpage did not recognize my password. Now
the system is not booting up in recovery mode.
