Claw Mail for Xubuntu

Why isn't Claw Mail the default Email client for Xubuntu???

It is faster and more lightweight than Thunderbird. It is GTK and has a
tango theme, so it is better integrated into Xubuntu than Thunderbird. It
has lots of great features, just as many as Thunderbird and has great
plugins.

Why is Claw Mail not the default.
