Xubuntu upgrade problem

Hello,

This is* absolutely and completely* the wrong place for getting support.
Please use http://answers.launchpad.net instead.

The reason why you can't upgrade to 7.10 is that it is not supported
anymore. Ubuntu 8.04 will be supported to April of 2011, so you should
either use this version or the current one (9.04). Please do not stay on an
old version more than 6 months unless it is a "Long Term Release" version
(such as 8.04).
