I've started to do some profiling and stuff with performance. I've started a

== Dealing with unwanted packages due to new apt configuration ==

 As you should already be aware, Intrepid has had installation of package
recommends enabled by default for some time. This means that a lot of
packages that we don't want in Xubuntu are being installed (as already noted
in earlier e-mails). I've started a wiki page describing build information
for Xubuntu at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Xubuntu/Development/Build

== Strategy Document ==

The Xubuntu strategy document has successfully made it through its first
reading by the Community Council at the last CC meeting. I'll be making a
few small changes/updates and sending a final final final what ever you want
to call it to the CC via e-mail for final approval. Please feel free to take
another read over and send in feedback - making changes to it before the
final approval will be much easier than after.

== Last Meeting ==

Sorry for missing the last meeting. However, I'd like to note that there are
no requirements or prerequisites to chair/get the meeting rolling. :-)
