Another attempt. I added dbgsyms for libglib etc. I also removed some fusesmb shortcuts I was using and replaced them with /usr/bin, /usr/lib, and /usr/share/doc. After bouncing between them a few times Thunar would disappear but apport didn't notice. I tried from a terminal and got:
(thunar:7832): Gtk-CRITICAL **: _gtk_tree_view_find_path: assertion `node != NULL' failed
(thunar:7832): Gtk-CRITICAL **: _gtk_tree_view_find_path: assertion
`node != NULL' failed
(thunar:7832): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_model_get_iter: assertion `path->depth > 0' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
syslog:
Apr 9 01:13:52 fisher1 kernel: [ 2477.285692] thunar[7832]: segfault at 8b107589 eip b78aaa2a esp bfb806f0 error 4
I attached a backtrace.
