Ubuntu beta, and Xubuntu?

Thanks for the heads-up.  I can get going on this tonight, but I'm sorry for
not being more proactive.  I've started a new job, and my ability to
participate in all things xubuntu has been limited.



For starters, I guess I should ask Jani and/or Lionel if any of the items
that are listed in the Ubuntu beta notes _would not_ apply to Xubuntu.  For
example, I would gather that the desktop search, 3-D effects, fast user
switching would not apply.  My hunch is that the printer stuff autodetection
would apply, though.



Then, obviously, we have the app-related changes (i.e., Brasero,
file-roller, Totem, . . .  I think there are other changes, but I'll have to
review the mailing list.)
