Situation of the update-manager

Ok, it was not installed. I did it but:

gt[~]$ sudo update-notifier
libnotify-Message: Unable to get session bus: Did not receive a reply.
Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply,
the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout
expired, or the network connection was broken.

** (update-notifier:6317): WARNING **: not starting because user is
not in admin group

Can someone help me please?
