issue with displayconfig-gtk on xubuntu

Hi all,
     As I'm sure everybody knows Bryce Harrington has made an
excellent tool called Bulletproof-X
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BulletProofX for which displayconfig-gtk has
been done. While its largely done aside from some stuff for ubuntu it
doesn't work at all in xubuntu. Maybe somebody can take it up. I've
put up a bug report about the same at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/displayconfig-gtk/+bug/137541
so if anybody is interested or willing to work on it, lemme know
either through on-list or off-list or through the bug-report. If
somebody wants to trace through the code & do stuff, they could guide
me & I would like to give more output so it works.
        Looking forward to inputs, opinions etc.
