missing /usr/lib/libstartup-notification-1.la ?

Dear list,

Since a few days I'm missing /usr/lib/libstartup-notification-1.la on an 
up-to-date Xubuntu Feisty, or at least I can't compile a couple of Xfce 
applications (xfdesktop4, xfce4-panel, etc).

I've reinstalled all libstartup-notification packages, to no avail...


Does anybody else has this problem?
