I'm personally against any Gnome dependencies which aren't absolutely
unavoidable. I find the xfce4-taskmanager to be a little underfeatured, so I
often use htop instead. Obviously an ncurses app isn't for everybody, but I
think including unnecessary Gnome apps by default would only bulk up Xubuntu
more, IMHO.
