Edgy upgrade question

You can just comment the unneeded repositories with #. Also check if 
there are repositories available for Edgy.

If you are going to do dist-upgrade rather then a clean install make 
sure that you have xubuntu-desktop installed as it will take care of 
changes.

Personally I prefer clean install to dist-upgarde because the latter 
gave me some problems with Breezy and Dapper. However it may be that 
Edgy has been improved in this regard.
