the point of that item is :

"The goals for Feisty Fawn include adopting emerging desktop technology.
"

abiword is for sure more feature-complete, but i'd consider intercations
between remote apps and the ones running locally an emerging desktop
technology.

Wouldn't you like an menu item on abiword like :

 - save documente at doc.google.com
