Xubuntu Welcome Centre

Hey,

 What do you guys think of a "Welcome Centre" for Xubuntu? I know there is a
current specification for one but I'm not sure what's going on with it or if
it is going in the right direction (there is a lot of debate about it). I've
created a mock up of a direction we could pursue - What do you guys think?
