feedback (nm-applet and system tray)

Hi there

I have a machine upon which Ubuntu Dapper and Xfce (a la xubuntu) are 
installed. So, not quite 100% Xubuntu, but almost ;) The system was 
up-to-date as of yesterday.

When setting up nm-applet (to manage network connections, particularly 
wireless ones) it works well, but when logging in each session, 5 
instances of the applet appear. I'm not certain where to post this... 
probably on the Xfce mailing list? Anyway, thought this heads-up would 
be useful, because Xubuntu is due for release soon and this bug is 
aesthetically irritating :( The GNOME services are configured to start 
when Xfce loads.
