Today's latest builds
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/daily/current/
are supposed to have a workaround for this.

Also new desktop CD
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/daily-live/current/

These will probably be the 6.06 RC images so please test them
