Nice work, and a question

I'll admit, it's been more than a week since I last logged in using
XFCE instead of Gnome. Wow! It looks great! I have XGL working in XFCE
now too.

Here's my question:

Will there be/is there an easy way to temporarily change which keymap
is being used?

I'll be giving some computers away to humanities students soon, some
of which are non-English language majors. Giving them the ability to
input text in the language they're studying will be a big bonus. I'm
mostly worried about accents for roman alphabet based languages like
Spanish/Portuguese/German/Italian.

In the keyboards settings, I see a menu list with the title "keymaps"
but only "default" and "emacs" are listed. What do I need to do to get
other languages in there?

Thanks,
