The libswitch package on my LP homepage is a bug. I worked on this
package, but it's been rejected. This package can't be removed for the
moment.
*But* the software has been packaged and is now named netswitch, and the
GTK frontend is gnetswitch. These packages are in NEW, and should hit
the archives soon.
I think that gnetswitch could be a really good app for xubuntu. It works
fine (with DHCP, fixe IP addresses and wifi), and doesn't depend on
gnome libs.
