Hi Daniele

we will very likely use patches against upstream and debian xfdesktop
package
but I have just not started yet on that. I intend to use cdbs as well.
I agree with dropping debian menu files and use .desktop files instead.
Will take a look at your proposed menu layout. Also if you feel like please
start on a panel laout xml file we'll need to patch that too.
You had a wiki page with proposed menu layout you can either update that
or just post to the list.
We should preferably ship a sensible layout with the first ISOs (I don't
know when
they start being built regularly but hopefully in no more than a week)
