i've seen these two pkges:
xfce4-xkb-plugin [*] <--- does this work ?
xfmedia [*] <--- is this already in main ?
but this si offtopic here :) ... i'll post a new message when i'll
collect the infos i need about graph. stuff
what i still don't see (and maybe because it's early) is an app for
viewing images and maybe gimp ...
i asked then to the gthumb devel if it was possible to remove the gnome deps:
"purtroppo libgnomeui fornisce funzionalità a cui non si può rinunciare.
Tuttavia c'è chi sta lavorando per portare queste funzionalità
direttamente in gtk+, a quel punto sarà mio piacere eliminare la
dipendenza da libgnomeui."
that is (more or less):
"unfortunatly lignomeui provides fetures it's impossible to renounce.
Anyway someone is working on porting those features direclty to gtk+,
in that case i'll be happy to remove the libgnomeui dependencies"
So my idea is now to collect infos about graph section, something like
XubuntuProposedPackages, make a list possible packages on that wiki
page, and divide them in "default install [x]" and "installable[+]"
sections.
At the moment candidates seem to be:
- gimp [x|+] [main]
- imagemagick [x|+] [main]
- gqview [x|+] [not in main]
- gtkam [x|+] [not in main]
- gthumb [+] [main]
- inkscape [+] [main]
there is then even gimageview.
here is the list of pkges on xubuntu-desktop (apt-get source xubuntu-desktop)
