I'd like people to associate these two projects as we _are_ basically
ubuntu
with an xfce twist, a lot closer than kubuntu is to ubuntu in terms of
software selection.
AFAIK, there is no 'official' Xubuntu logo (that mouse!! doesn't give

That is because we'd want to be associated with xfce too and the mouse is
their logo ;)
The gnome foot and the K are not too evident in k/ubuntu so we should't be
to strict either.
It probably should not be on the initial desktop (people complained about
nudity in default
walpapers after all) but in the bootsplash and elsewhere I think it is ok. I
very much like the
original logo suggestion but the percentage of musophobic users may be large
enough to rethink this.
Hmm, maybe a giant squid? ;)
Also, colors to identify the project have not been defined either.

Maybe we should just follow what upstream decides for 4.4 and trust their
art-team to
have taste. Mostly because they very much outnumber us and we don't have
an opinion
anyway so far.
So, in general, so far, I am just producing stuff I like :D
