I think that this could really help the distro.  I am not a dev, but lurk on
this mailing list to keep up to date on xubuntu development.  You'd see more
participation from interested parties like me in a xubuntu-user mailing list
. . . and you could kick over appropriate threads from this mailing list
into the user mailing list (e.g., the bug triaging thread on the dev list
could spark a bug reporting/testing thread in the user mailing list . . . )
