Daniele, you nailed it. That's exactly what Xubuntu
should be: a lean Ubuntu. And I, for one, appreciate
Jani's and your work a lot, for bringing all those
GTK-only projects back to life. 
Linux really needs a strong non-Gnome or non-KDE
distro. Xubuntu could be it.
