Why noy Sylpheed-Claws-Gtk2 ?

I saw here

that, Sylpheed-Gtk2 was proposed. But why not Sylpheed-Claws-Gtk2
I think that Claw is much better and feature full then Sylpheed-Claw.
Claws has more functions, for example Plugins interface,Customisable
toolbars,Spell checking (with aspell),...  And one of these plugins are
very usefull. For example, a trayicon.
