Hello,
After installation of the upgrade, the touch pad stopped working. The
mouse pointer was visible.
By typing the command "sudo modprobe -r psmouse" and on the next command
line, "sudo modprobe psmouse proto=imps" in the terminal, the touchpad
works for the open session only.
I need it to function each time I start Ubuntu. The touchpad worked on
unbuntu 12.02? before upgrade.
I am running Windows 7 and Ubuntu on this Toshiba Satellite
This laptop model uses Elan Touchpad driver and I updated the driver using
the file
TC50082600H.exe - this update did not fix the problem!
Please provide fix.
Thank you,
Michael
