8 minute Upstart delay during LTSP client boot

I thought I would just report that I discovered the cause of the eight minute delay: /etc/resolv.conf was missing.

I finally tracked it down by calling /bin/sh instead of init, starting an strace on pid 1 in a second console and starting init by hand.

This was way too much effort for such a simple problem, but at least I found it.
