[RFC] Future ideas for Upstart

Call for Ideas

The Upstart developers are very interested in hearing your thoughts on
future ideas for Upstart.

The page below captures some of the thoughts we have:

Note that although this is an Ubuntu page and some of the content on
that page might be Ubuntu-specific, *please* do not limit yourself to
only considering Upstart on Ubuntu: Upstart runs on a number of
different operating systems and we hope to expand its usage going
forward to other systems.

Again, these discussions will be focussed on Upstart from an Ubuntu
perspective, but clearly we all want to minimize "Ubuntu-specific"
changes and ensure that new features ultimately reside upstream. If you
wish to join the discussions on these blueprints, please get involved.
