Well, I was hoping we'd have something together in the couple of weeks ideally. For Ubuntu we can of
course use the existing options I outlined to mock up the services (display-manager, etc) to allow
us to convert the existing SysV services to Jobs now, and then cut over to using aliases later.

Scott - any thoughts on the overall concept of aliases?
