Has anyone tried to add a new DBUS Upstart API.
I tried adding a new API to com.ubuntu.Upstart.xml
 
I am trying to add a getInstanceByPID() API. I modifed the xml file to
add the API, but then the compile fails.
 
It looks like the nih-dbus-tool was never invoked before this in my copy
of upstart. And it got invoked when I modfied com.ubuntu.Upstart.xml
 
Here I get the following error.

I notice that a nih-dbus-tool has been generated into obj-ppc. But it
contains "#:" as the first line.
 
What version of python is required to build upstart?
 
How do I resolve this error.
