Download of non-compatible example-jobs?

Hello,

I'm new to upstart and I would like to implement this into my self build 
system.
My problem is, that the compatible example jobs do not work with my 
file-rc based init system. Therefore I want to rewrite my init.d-batches 
(most of them are based on linux-from-scratch-batches) to 
event.d-batches. Is something as starting point availble?
