debsign: gpg error occurred! Aborting....
backportpackage: Error: debsign returned 2.
- It would be nice to see some proposals, what to do after this message. I
- am just trying to request a backport and test the build to help
- maintainers, and I am out of time to dig entrypoint for this GPG issue.
- Is it possible to guide what to do next? I guess bug #992739 is related.
+
+ It is not clear what to do after this message. The problem is that GPG constructs the name as login at HOST instead of using my techtonik at gmail.com
+ credentials.
+
+ It would be much more friendly if backportpackage proposed to check
+ your name and email on design 2 error.
** Summary changed:
- [backportpackage] Error: debsign returned 2. Now what?
+ [backportpackage] Provide better error message if GPG key is not found
