just to confirm that creating the file
/usr/share/thumbnailers/raw.thumbnailer with the  [Thumbnailer Entry] as
above it works on an fresh install of Ubuntu 12.10 64 bits to display
thumbnails of NEF files generated by a Nikon D-5100.
