OK.  As you described, I "subscribed someone else" and entered "MOTU".
There is a working and tested PPA package:

do we need to make one for Natty too, or will they take care of it?

Maybe somebody from the MOTU team can also answer the question of what
we need to do to get the latest Hugin-2010.4.0, scheduled for December
2010, into Natty.
