[Bug 424240] Re: amsn freezes when setting up microphone

I confirm on karmic stable release having the same problem as well. Also
when I want to send a voice clip while on chatting window, I get a
partial freeze, which lasts for some seconds. No sound is transmitted.

While the system freezes the demand of cpu is always higher. This
happens both using the amsn-daily version or the svn one for amsn 0.99b.

The Ctrl+S combination in the main window of amsn does not show any
error while the sound clip button is pressed or the configuration is
under way.
