this problem also have new Ubuntu (Lucid Lynx) version....  after the
install, the setting directory created with root permission... is in my
home directory... :/ not writable ...

:> sudo chmod -R (username) ./.tvtime
:> sudo chgrp -R (username) ./.tvtime
