A ruby/tk program of mine which works correctly under Ruby 1.8 and under
a Ruby 1.9.1 which I compiled from source crashes at startup with the
following backtrace:

Additionally, this same program suffers under bug #511339 when run by
ruby1.9.
I am open to suggestions how to narrow this down.
