Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: emacs-snapshot

Ubuntu release: 9.10

uname -a: ... 2.6.31-302-rs #7 SMP Thu Oct 29 22:57:03 UTC 2009 x86_64
GNU/Linux

emacs version: emacs-snapshot-nox 1:20090909-1

php-mode version: php-mode 0.1-1ubuntu1

To reproduce:

- load the attached php file; ensure that php-mode and font-lock-mode are active
- M-x toggle-truncate-lines, so that long lines are truncated
- move to the end of the second line with C-e
- result: fatal error 11 segmentation fault

It doesn't happen with font-lock-mode turned off, or in modes other than
php-mode, or if the first long line is removed.

** Affects: emacs-snapshot (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
