Public bug reported:
I'm running compiz + AWN on my Lucid Alpha machine (64bit, ATI Radeon
HD 2600XT with mesa drivers). I have the awn-plugin "shiny switcher"
enabled and found out the following: The plugin is set to refresh the
thumbnail every 7 seconds. Every time the plugin refreshes the thumbnail
fullscreen video playback (VLC, Xine, SMplayer were tested) loses a few
frames making the video stutter. I turned off the refresh-funcion of the
plugin and now video playback runs smoothly again.
** Affects: awn-extras-applets (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
