*** This bug is a security vulnerability ***

Public security bug reported:

Binary package hint: fcron

Ubuntu 9.10
fcron 3.0.1

Fcrondyn asks for root's password, therefore it doesn't work with ubuntu without setting a password for root.
Fcron could be very useful to solve the wakeup-by-crontab-issue.
Fcrondyn is able to report next job time and date, for a specific user or system-wide. It could be very easy to use this time with nvram-wakeup, just by creating a fcrontab for root using an @reboot item. Up to now, it doesn't seem to be possible using fcrondyn in a script.

** Affects: fcron (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: crontab fcron wakeup

** Visibility changed to: Public
