not an update-manager issue. affecting to wine.

Could you please try to reinstall the wine package. Open a terminal and run:
$ sudo apt-get clean
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall wine.

** Summary changed:

- Update Manager Error: Python & WINE
+ /var/lib/binfmts/wine corrupt : out of binfmt data reading package

** Package changed: update-manager (Ubuntu) => wine (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: wine (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
