[Bug 508089] [NEW] apt-file fails 'There was an error creating the child process for this terminal'

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt-file

Once apt-file is installed and run it runs it's post script to update
from the sources list. However, clicking the 'Run this action now'
button on the dialog results in the following error and an empty
terminal on the desktop.

"There was an error creating the child process for this terminal"

This is very reproducible.
