Public bug reported:

According to the project's documentation the correct module is being loaded (gspca_sonixj). But the image is not right. The webcam works at 640x480 (VGA). When running the cheese application (preferences dialog) it tells me the resolution is 352 x 288.
Kernel output is the following:
[ 4293.336017] usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[ 4293.494189] usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

[ 4293.515543] gspca: main v2.8.0 registered
[ 4293.537896] gspca: probing 0471:0328
[ 4293.542066] sonixj: Sonix chip id: 11

[ 4293.588235] gspca: video0 created

[ 4293.588354] sonixj: registered
[ 4293.684539] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio

I downloaded the current code for gspca following the instructions from here: http://hansdegoede.livejournal.com/6630.html
I still get the same behaviour, this is, a 352x288 window consisting of stripes mesuring 8x352 from my web cam. You can see a white "square" on them which is the next "row" from the correct image from the webcam. I'm attaching the screenshot.
Thank you.
