Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: screenlets

some sites are temporarily redirected to others or produce 404 errors.
For example:

Yesterday studentloanrepayment.co.uk/ gave 404 and then later resolved
to the correct IP. Today it redirects to http://memory-
alpha.org/en/wiki/Portal:Main

Same in Chromium and Firefox, reproducible in both karmic and lucid A1.
This is from a home network, where all other Computers (with windows)
resolve the domain names correctly.

david at david-laptop:~$ ping studentloanrepayment.co.uk

Another possibly unrelated problem is that I have to run `sudo dhclient wlan0` before any domains will resolve.
I am using a

Please Note:
I do have the latest kernel installed (vmlinuz-2.6.32-9-generic) but have to use 2.6.31 sometimes because of an intermittent bug when I select 2.6.32-9 in grub. For some reason xorg freezes or at least backgrounds are displayed but not text and gtk controls. Although it seems to work after booting to 2.6.31, restarting and booting to 2.6.32?

The DNS bugs are reproducible running under all kernels (when I can boot
using them).

Hardware:
- Clevo M76T (Laptop)
- BT Voyager 2100 (Router)

(dmesg output has been attached as file 'log')

Sorry I cant give more information.
