Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: texmaker
I have a German installation (and German keyboard) of Ubuntu 9.10, but I
use the keyboard layout 'USA alternatvie international'. This works fine
in all applications except texmaker. The option 'separate layout for
each window' in system -> keyboard settings is deactivated.
When I start texmaker, and want to type for example 'ä', I directly get
¨ wihtout having the chance to put the dots over the a. Clicking a menu
item (e.g. help -> about) or switching to another window and then back
to texmaker, fixes this, I can use the layout as I do in all other
windows. But as soon as I save the document with strg + s or by clicking
save, the wrong setting is there again.
Any more information I can provide?
