installing python-libmimic solved problem for me. in future, maybe error
message should add the python- part. i installed libmimc and it didn't
work

Status in “emesene” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: emesene

I'm using ubuntu Karmic with all updates. okay
When using "emesene", i'm not able to activate webcam (even clicking onthe webcam button) and i have a message :
"You don't have libmimic, so you can't send or receive webcam"

Falling into emesene forums, i foundthat:
"ok, unfortunately this is not your fault, whoever packaged ubuntu's emesene fucked up the libraries.. some ubuntu user should really file a bug about this"

Hoping webcam issue with emesene will be fixed in the next updates !
